Mountain Mayhem: Connection is everything

The fourth annual Aspen Hope Center Gala took place on Saturday, July 12, at June Bug Farms in Emma on a sunny summer evening that turned into a starry night.

The impactful nonprofit was founded in 2009 by the Aspen Valley Medical Foundation through the vision of co-founders Sandy Iglehart and Michelle Muething. It has since evolved into a central source of support throughout the Roaring Fork Valley for help and healing related to loss, suicide, and suicidal thinking. 

The tough topic that touches all hearts was made approachable through the bright and supportive atmosphere of the evening and the connective tissue of the mission of Aspen Hope Center. Led by Executive Director Erin Michell, the organization and event hold significant value to so many — reminding us to connect, be hopeful, and embrace healing to make this a better place, better value, and better world.
